7.0 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We welcome manuscripts that align with our aims and scope. Review will only be given to manuscripts that meet the Journal's publication standards.
7.1 Style and Formatting Guidelines.
- Proofing language must be set as UK English
- Articles should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length, including footnotes.
- Submit manuscripts in word format using the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (full note). Use Arabic numbers to indicate/number your footnotes.
- Manuscripts should have normal margins; 1.5 line spacing using a 12-point common font such as Times New Roman.
- Include cited authors in the reference list.
7.2 Quotations
- Use “double inverted commas” when quoting from a source.
- Use ‘single inverted commas’ to quote within a quote.
- Indent quotations that are longer than 40 words.
7.3 Numbers
- In text, numbers one to nine are in words; numbers 10 and above are in digits.
- At the start of a sentence all numbers are in words.
7.4 Abstract and Keywords
▪ Please prepare an abstract of no more than 250-word and submit 4–6
keywords with your article which should be distinguished with a semicolon
i.e., gender; identity; globalisation.
▪ The keywords should appear below the abstract.

7.5 Authorship
▪ By submitting manuscripts to the Journal, authors certify that the work is
original and that it is not being considered for publication by another
publisher, has not previously appeared in print, been published in online
journals or books; and that if accepted for publication they will not be
posted online or submitted to another publication without permission from
the editor.
▪ Articles and reviews that have been previously published in print or online
will not be accepted.
▪ Please provide a list of individuals who have made significant
contributions to the preparation of the manuscript. This should include
those who came up with the research idea, performed data analysis and
methodology, and provided a thorough and constructive review of the
manuscript.
▪ Should you wish to modify the authorship of a published article, we kindly
request that you write to the editor and provide a comprehensive
explanation for why the change is being requested.
7.6 Bibliographical Note
▪ In order to maintain the highest level of accuracy and professionalism in
the publication of your article, we kindly request that all authors provide a
brief biographical note. This note should include your current position,
physical address, and email address. Furthermore, please indicate the
name of the corresponding author, as the Journal does not make this
selection on your behalf.
7.7 Acknowledgements
▪ It is crucial to include an acknowledgements section at the end of a
manuscript to give credit to individuals who have contributed to the work,

but are not considered authors. As an author, it is your duty to
acknowledge any financial or logistical support that has been received.
7.8 Submission
